DiCicco Landscape & Irrigation is a professionally managed firm with a goal to provide our clients with expert consultation and quality service, as well as giving our employees an opportunity to grow within our company and within the green industry, and for us to remain as a competitive leader in the green industry

Business Background: Established in 1997, focusing on residential landscape and irrigation installations, we also provided landscape maintenance for key clients. In 2000 we began referring maintenance to other firms and directed all of our attention to the design and installation aspect of our business. Although residential projects remain our primary focus, we take on certain commercial projects that fit into our scope of work.

Company Culture: Focusing on a team environment is what is most important to us. Ten to twelve employees make up three to four installation crews and an irrigation service crew. Our key field employees have been with us for several years and continually attended manufacturer and industry training seminars. A structured training program that itemizes all field tasks allows employees to advance as they master each task. We operate with a management system which reduces wasted time and materials, offers incentives for working efficiently and tracks all time and material to each project.

Industry Experience: Founder and president Stephen DiCicco, worked in the golf course industry on new and established courses for nine years prior to founding DiCicco Landscape and Irrigation. He managed the construction of putting greens, tees, sand bunkers, drainage systems, and major irrigation additions.

Formal Education: Stephen holds an Associate Degree in Turfgrass Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He attends many local and national business and industry conferences and seminars to continue his education on current practices.
