Water gardens are an exciting alternative to typical landscaping.
They create a unique setting that can be enjoyed day and night by
people of all ages.
When we create a water feature we refer to it as an ecosystem. The
greatest benefit to our ecosystem is that it does the routine maintenance
for you. The skimmer holding the pump continuously sweeps the surface
of the pond depositing debris in a catch bag for easy removal. As
the water is pumped over the waterfalls it passes through a series
filters where microscopic bacteria go to work scrubbing the pond
clean of green water. We use a strong 45 mm rubber liner as the
foundation of the pond and cover it with natural fieldstone varying
in size to create a realistic looking water feature. Our water features
can be customized to accomplish any style, shape or size you have
in mind. We encourage pond owners to use water plants and fish in
their ponds, this helps to balance oxygen and control algae in the
ecosystem. No pond is complete with out the proper landscaping;
your water feature should be the focal point of you yard. We use
ornamental trees, perennial planting, ornamental grasses and ground
covers to help naturalize the waters edge. Often a deck or patio
is incorporated for a more up close and personal appreciation of
the water feature.
